Pep Guardiola And Jose Mourinho Will Continue Their War If Mourinho Settles For Any English Club

Bayern Munich Coach has been confirmed to take charge of Manchester City with effect from July 1, 2016, while Jose Mourinho is currently out of job and is rumoured to take over Manchester United come July 1, 2016.

If the speculation is confirmed and Mourinho comes to Manchester United or any English club, the rivalry that existed between the two world great managers will be rekindled.

Both Managers have met sixteen times with Pep winning eight times while Jose Mourinho won only three times and the remaining five ended in a draw.

The presence of both managers in Spain then, made the El Classico so tough, heated and interesting such that every encounter looked like the final of a tournament. The rivalry became so heated in Spain that both managers barely looked at each other when exchanging pleasantries at the dugout.

In fact, the heat became so much that El Classico was turned into a battle field with players venting the anger of managers on each other, while coach of the Spanish national team Vincente Del Bousque frowned against it by pointing out the effect this unhealthy competition will have on the Spanish national team.

Interestingly, City and Manchester United are not arch-rivals before now, but derby match. Both managers are likely going to turn the meetings of both teams into an English-El Classico with both teams now seeing each other as arch-rivals and the scores for meetings extended by at least six, if eventually Mourinho agrees on a three year contract with Manchester United as Pep has three already
