Chelsea Maintain Unbeaten Record Under Hiddinks But Yet To Break Jinx



Chelsea continues her post Mourinho era without losing a match, but yet to win two matches in a month.

Guus Hiddinks men failed to get second win in a month at Stamford Bridge, after an 86 minutes goal from McClean of West Brom spoilt the party, which made the game end in 2-2 draw.

Chelsea still remain at the 14th position on the EPL table, a position which they have josttled around in the past five league matches.

The dream of Chelsea finishing top four still remains a mirage, as it is easier for Leicester to win the EPL title for the first time, than for Chelsea to finish top four this season.

Arsenal's Draw With Liverpool, A Blessing To Leicester's Away Win.



It was dramatic scene yesterday at the English Premier League, when Arsenal went to Antfield and got a 2-2 draw against Liverpool, keeping them on top but on same points with Leicester City.

On the other hand, Huth's 83 minutes goal for Leicester in London against Tottenham, gave them a win and made them level up on points with Arsenal, with both teams having 43 points each.

Leicester City will face Aston Villa on Saturday, while Arsenal will travel to Stoke City's home on Sunday.

Both teams will aim to win, as a draw or loss on either of both side's will give the other an edge to remain on top.

Newcastle Makes Situation More Difficult For Van Gaal



Newcastle United forced Manchester United to a 3-3 draw yesterday, denying Van Gaal's men the maximum three points needed to keep the top four hope alive.

Van Gaal's men took the lead by 0-2 in the first half, with goals coming from Rooney through penalty in the 9th minute and Lingard in the 38 minutes before New Castle scored a goal in the 42nd minute through Wijnaldum.

In the 67th minutes, Newcastle's Mitrovic levelled up the score line through a penalty, before Rooney scored another in the 79th minute to put United on the lead.

However, a 90th minute goal from Newcastle's Dummett ended United's hope of getting maximum three points, leaving Manchester United sixth position on the league table.

English Premier League Players Missing From FIfpro World XI



The FIFA World eleven players for 2015 were revealed during the 2015 Ballon D'or with the Spanish Laliga players dominating.

Spain had eight players, while Germany, France and Italy all had one each making a total of eleven players. The English Premier League had no player on the list.

The Federation International of Football Professionals voted for the FIFA eleven, and did not find any player in the English Premier League worthy to be on the list.

The selection is as follows, attack: Lionel Messi, Cristiano Ronaldo and Neymar Jr, Midfield: Andres Iniesta, Luca Modric, Paul Pogba, Defence: Thiago Silva, Marcelo, Sergio Ramos, Dani Alves, while Manuel Neuer emerged as goal keeper.

Shocking: Messi Voted For Suarez To Win Ballon D'or



The 2015 FIFA Ballon D'or award has taken place at Zurich, with Lionel Messi emerging as the winner.

However, the result of the votes as published by FIFA clearly shows that Lionel Messi did not vote for himself.

Messi voted for Suarez as first choice, Neymar as second choice. And Andres Iniesta as third choice. The trio are all Barcelona players.

Ballon D'or: Sunday Oliseh and Ahmed Musa Voted For Messi!



Super Eagles Coach Sunday Oliseh and Captain Ahmed Musa, voted for Lionel Messi in the just concluded FIFA Ballon D'or 2015 award, with the Argentine emerging as winner.

This is the first time all Nigeria's representatives would vote for Lionel Messi, with Audu Samm who is also Nigeria's media representative voting for Messi.

The trio are the authorised persons allowed by FIFA to vote in the Ballon D'or.

Messi won the award for a record fifth time, with Cristiano Ronaldo finishing second while Neymar third.
