I Thank Mourinho For Letting Me Go To Everton - Lukaku

Lukaku scored his 19 goal for Everton yesterday, as they beat Manchester City 2-1, and this quickly served as reminder for the Belgian striker who was struggling to get playing time under former Chelsea boss, José Mourinho.

No doubt, Mourinho had denied several players ample playing time and in some cases, loaned them out. But Lukaku's case was quite different.

Lukaku is arguably the rejected stone that became the cornerstone, as he is doing exceedingly well for Everton when eventually Mourinho let him go.

He scored the decisive goal at the 78 minutes against Manchester City in the Capital One Cup, thereby making things worse for Pelgrini.

Our Generation Is Blessed To Have Messi And Ronaldo - Sports Intelligence

With a few days to the 2015 Ballon d'or award to hold in Zurich Switzerland, Sports Intelligence looks critically at the fame, glory, honour and disagreement these two living football legends have brought to the round leather game.

Messi and Ronaldo have monopolized the Ballon D'or title since 2008, with both having appeared among the last three since 2008 to 2015;

Messi won the title on four occasions, 2009, 2010, 2011 and 2012, while Ronaldo won it in 2008, 2013 and 2014;

Both players are coming up for the eighth time with Neymar making his debut for the title in between the two living football legends,

Every other legend in football history have never had a strong rivalry as both have had, the likes of Pele, Diego Maradona, Ronaldo Delima to mention but a few all came and had a solo run in football history; but both have faced each other;

Both players have cleared all individual records set by players in the clubs where they play, and have created new records for upcoming players to meet up with,

Ronaldo and Messi made El Classico a must watch in their time of play and by their performance made analysts and pundits disagree strongly on who is a greater player,

Both Players became house-hold name and models among children all over the world as far as football is concerned, with kids striving to be identified as either of the two.

Ronaldo and Messi are living football legends, and irrespective of what the outcome of the result of the 2015 Ballon D'or award is, they are indeed a blessing to this generation.

Don't Compare Me With Pep Guardiola -Zidane

Zinedine Zidane has assumed office as new manager of Real Madrid on a two and half year deal, after the sack of former Madrid manager Raphael Benitez, but insist that there is no basis he should be compared with Bayern Munich Boss Pep Guardiola.

Pep was appointed as manager of Barcelona team A after satisfying his employers with his performance at Barca team B, and his appointment brought greater honour and fame to both himself and Barcelona.

Zidane's appointment as manager of Madrid followed the same principle as that of Guardiola, as he (Zidane) satisfied his employers while in charge of Madrid Team B, and this has so far led to comparison. But Zidane insists, "why the comparison? As Players we were not compared, so why do they want to compare us as coach"

He continues "Guardiola is a good coach, and I respect him for that, but the fact remains that I will do my best as Zidane. There is no need for any comparison.

World Most Expensive Attacking Line-up Bids Benitez Farewell From Bernebeau

The Sack of Rapael Benitez from Real Madrid as a result of poor performance of the club has given room for scrutiny of the World's most expensive attacking line-up in the history of football.

Ronaldo ($80m), Bale ($85m), and James ($65m) are valued at about $230m which is currently the most expensive front line, and will remain in Santiago Bernebeu while the underperforming manager has been shown the way out.

Madrid have spent so much on acquisition of players and coaches in the past six years, with Benitez being the unlucky man to suffer all previous expenses made in the past before his arrival. Management felt his sack was to cut down cost, while the trio of Ronaldo, Bale and James remain and continue with their wages and conditions.

Benitez is the first manager to be fired in 2016, former Real Madrid play maker Zinedine Zidane steps in to finish up for the club. His premature sack confirms that the job of a coach is practically "hire and fire".

I Want To Come To England And Face A New Challenge- Guardiola

Bayern Munich outgoing manager Pep Guardiola has stated that he is keen on coming to England and face a new challenge as far as coaching is concerned. He gave this as reason for his not extending his contract with Bayern.

Bayern have already made arrangement for Carlos Ancelotti to take over from the Spaniard, which means that Pep will definitely leave Munich by summer.

His next club of primary assignment is yet unknown but there have been calls from Manchester City, Manchester United and Arsenal.

Pep had been approached earlier by Sir Alex Ferguson, prior to his taking up coaching job with Barcelona in 2009 to assist him in United with hope of keeping him for the future, but Pep had declined and took up appointment with Barcelona.

The 44 year old is yet to make a decision on which club to come to in England, but there are speculations that Manchester City would be ready to give him a blank cheque if he insist. With Sir Alex Ferguson still in Manchester United as a director, he may have to influence Pep to do otherwise.
