This is arguably the biggest match of this weekend, both teams will play to decide on who remains on the top of the table. Barcelona are currently on top with three points difference and they will try to maintain their position while Madrid will try to get the maximum three points needed to come back to the top or at most level on points. (2) Manchester City-Liverpool (ENGLAND PREMIERSHIP)

This match is arguably one of the biggest matches of this weekend, Manchester City are currently on top with 26 points tied with Arsenal, as they host Liverpool who are seated tenth position on the table with 17 points. Both teams will strive to get a winning to ensure that there is improvement on their current position.PREDICTIONS: Over 2.5, Manchester City to win, Both teams to score

(3) Real Sociedad-Sevilla (SPAIN PRIMERA DIVISION)
This match is going to be another interesting match this weekend, Sociedad are yet to win any match at home this season and will seek to use this opportunity and get their first home win. They are currently at 16 position on the table, while Sevilla who are tenth on the table have not won any away match, and this makes the whole situation dicey. PREDICTIONS: Both teams will score each other, Over 3.5, Win or Draw for Sevilla,

(4)West Bromwich-Arsenal (ENGLAND PREMIERSHIP)
Arsene Wenger men will go to West Brom to prove a point that their gradual coming to the second position in the league was not a fluke. They are tied on points with Manchester City in first and second position. West Brom are at the 13th position and would seek to progress by winning and hoping that there is an upset on the side of  Stoke City and Watford . PREDICTIONS: Arsenal is good to win, Over 1.5 is guaranteed

(5) VFL Wolfsburg-SV Werder Bremen (GERMANY BUNDESLIGA)
Wolfsburg are currently seated on the third position in the German league with 21 points and are only one point ahead of Hertha BSC who is just 20 points.Werder on the other hand are 14th position with 13 position and will strive to win. Werder have won 4 matches this season and 3 out of the matches were all away matches. PREDICTIONS: The game is going to be a very tight one but we recommend straight win for Wolfsburg or Over 1.5, Over 2.5

(6) Deportivo La Coruna-Celta de Vigo (SPAIN PRIMERA DIVISION)
La Coruna who are seated on eleven position on the Spanish La Liga table will be hosting Celta de Vigo who are fourth on the table. Two points separate Vigo from Athletico Madrid, hence a win for Vigo is very necessary. Fortunately, La Coruna has won only one match at home this season and this makes things a bit easy for Celta Vigo who have won four away matches this season out of the six matches they have won. PREDICTIONS: Straight win for Celta Vigo, Over 2.5

Chelsea Fans Go Angry As Mikel Seats On Bench In Super Eagles Defeat Of Swaziland

Some angry Chelsea fans in Lagos went gaga, after the Super Eagles of Nigeria defeated Swaziland 2-0 in the second leg of the 2018 World Cup qualifier.

The main cause of their anger was based on the fact that Mikel Obi was made to seat on bench for the entire 90 minutes of play in the must-win match.

One of the fans who expressed himself openly said "Sunday Oliseh will be sacked very soon" . He continued " Imagine Mikel, our biggest player was kept on bench for 90 minutes. First, he (Oliseh)had problem with Enyeama, then he forced Emenike to retire now he is after Mikel.

Other fans who felt otherwise noted that the Coach decides on whom to play at anytime. Besides Mikel warms the bench regularly in Chelsea so what is the big issue about him seating on bench for 90 minutes in a Super Eagles match.

It will be recalled that Mikel Obi played in the first leg match in Swaziland, where the Eagles played a goaless draw.

Super Eagles Beat Stubborn Swaziland in World Cup Qualifier

The Super Eagles of Nigeria are through to the next round of the 2018 World Cup qualifier after beating Swaziland 2-0.

Moses Simon opened the goal in the second half through a free-kick scored in the 51st minutes of play, before Efe Ambrose sealed the winning with the second goal in the 87th minutes.

The match which was played at Adokiye Amiesamaka stadium in Rivers state capital, Port Harcourt, was a decisive match on whether the Eagles will proceed to the next round or not.

Oliseh's men played a barren draw in the first leg. Hence, winning this match was key. The next round of the qualifier will continue in 2016.

Will Iheanacho ever wear Super Eagles Jersey No 10?

Since Austin Jay-Jay Okocha left the jersey number 10 about ten years ago, Nigeria is yet to get a playmaker that will fill the vacuum left by Okocha.

Is Kelechi Iheanacho capable of reminding us of what Jay-Jay Okocha did?

Oliseh's Contract Terms With NFF Causes Furor Among Fans

Photo:newsexpressngr.com

The goaless draw which the Super Eagles of Nigeria recently played with Swaziland was not annoying to fans. What made fans go gaga was the fact that their was no condition of qualifying Nigeria to major tournament in his contract.

This was observed recently in a viewing centre in Lagos, where fans were discussing on what Nigeria's fate would be if Swaziland beat Nigeria on Tuesday at Port Harcourt.

A man said authoritatively,  that "Oliseh would be sacked"if Nigeria fails to win the second leg in Nigeria. This writer noted that there was no clause in his contract that mandates him to qualify Nigeria for a major tournament, hence, his contract was basically to develop Nigeria's football.

On hearing this, all who was present shouted at the top of their voices saying " Develop what? "  How can he develop football without qualifying Nigeria to World Cup and Cup of Nations. NFF better review it, if Nigeria does not qualify, Oliseh should be sacked they all echoed.

Xavi Surprised At Mourinho's Defensive Style of Play

Photo: Sky Sports

Former Barcelona midfielder Xavi Hernandez has expressed shock over Mourinho's defensive style of play.

The 35-year-old, noted that while Mourinho was assistant to Van Gaal in Barcelona he understood the philosophy of the club and shared many kind of characteristics with him.

At times, he trains us alone at Barca team B without Van Gaal's presence and this shows how much he knew of the club's philosophy.

I'm very much surprised that he later became a very defensive coach, because he was not like that when he was at Barca, Xavi told Sky Sports.
