Manchester United are out of the Champions League race after losing to Wolfsburg 3-2. This is the first time this will happen in the history of the club.
Even when the situation was critical under former manager David Moyes, United got to the quarter final stage of the tournament.
Interestingly, this is the first time Wolfsburg will be qualifying for the knockout stage of the UEFA Champions league, ànd finished top on the group.
United will need to give more attention to the Premier League and ensure that they finish among top four so as to keep their hope of qualifying for the next Champions league alive.
