Elimshire College Holds Second Inter House Sports In Grand Style

GREEN HOUSE ARE CHAMPIONS OF ELIMSHIRE COLLEGE
THE ACTION MOMENTS DURING THE EVENT
The second edition of the Elimshire College Inter-House Sports has come and gone, with Green House emerging first in the competition.

Barracks Sports Centre in Surulere Lagos Nigeria gave students the opportunity to come out and officially exercise themselves while they also get compensated for doing such.

The Principal of Elimshire College  Mr. Fatoye Dosunmu informed Sports Intelligence that there is an improvement in this edition after the maiden edition, more schools were invited and invitations was also extended to Nursery and Primary schools and not just secondary schools alone.

 collective effort of all schools and not Elimshire College alone and what they are doing is playing their own role in grassroots Sports development. 

On the issue of Nigeria benefiting from this event he stated that Nigeria has a great potential and its possible that one or two athletes who had taken part in today's event may be fortunate and become useful to Nigeria in the future, but it is not restricted to Elimshire College alone, every other school can also perform that role to Nigeria as a nation.


SPIRIT OF SPORTSMANSHIP


Green House came first winning a total of 22 medals which comprise of 8 Gold, 6 Silver and 8 Bronze, the runners-up Red House won a total of 16 medals which comprises of 8 Gold, 3 Silver, 5 Bronze, Blue House finished third with a total of 17 medals which comprises of 5 Gold, 7 Silver and 5 Bronze while Yellow House finished fourth on the table with a total of 20 medals which comprises of 4 Gold, 9 Silver and 7 Bronze.
