CAVANI SCORES CHELSEA AGAIN IN CHAMPIONS LEAGUE TO KEEP FRANCE HOPE ALIVE AHEAD OF SECOND LEG

Edinson Cavani came up from the and scored the decisive goal for Paris Saint-German in the 78 minutes, giving his side hope ahead of the second leg to take place at Stamford bridge. This is the third goal Cavani will be scoring against Chelsea in the Champions League.

PSG took the lead in the 39 minutes of play when Ibrahimovic shot was deflected by Mikel Obi, giving the French side the lead. In the injury time of play before the half time, Mikel made up for his defensive error by taking a shot to the right hand side of the goal keeper which gave the team the desired goal needed to level up before half time.

The match however ended 2-1 in favour of the French side, who now go to Stamford bridge to see the possibility of getting a draw, as this is what they need to qualify to next stage, while a win for them at London will be an excellent result.

On the other hand, Chelsea will need to win by at least 1-0 at Stamford bridge if they will have any hope of going to the next stage of the tournament.
