Super Eagles Beat Stubborn Swaziland in World Cup Qualifier




The Super Eagles of Nigeria are through to the next round of the 2018 World Cup qualifier after beating Swaziland 2-0.

Moses Simon opened the goal in the second half through a free-kick scored in the 51st minutes of play, before Efe Ambrose sealed the winning with the second goal in the 87th minutes.

The match which was played at Adokiye Amiesamaka stadium in Rivers state capital, Port Harcourt, was a decisive match on whether the Eagles will proceed to the next round or not.

Oliseh's men played a barren draw in the first leg. Hence, winning this match was key. The next round of the qualifier will continue in 2016.
