Sanchez Set To Face His Former Club
Alexis Sanchez will for the first time re-unite with his former club members Barcelona, but this time it will not be on friendly levels. He will aim at ensuring that his team Arsenal defeat the Catalans when both teams clash in the first-leg of the Round of 16 stage of the UEFA Champions League.
Sanchez was in Barcelona for two seasons, 2011/2012 to 2013/2014 before he left for Arsenal during this period he made 88 appearances for Barcelona and scored 39 goals.
Sanchez won six titles while at Barcelona which include One La Liga title, One Copa del Rey, Two Spanish Super Cups, One UEFA Super Cup and One FIFA Club World Cup.
He did not win the UEFA Champions League with Barcelona but hopes to be part of Arsenal's success story in winning the title. Unfortunately, his former club will be the greatest hurdle he will have to go through to achieve this goal.
