War In France As PSG Host Chelsea In Champions League Knockout Clash
Paris Saint-German will today face their long term Champions League rivals Chelsea, in the first leg of the knockout stage of the UEFA Champions League.
Both teams have had a ding-dong affair in the Champions League, which has led their seeing each other as arch-rivals.
Between 2004 and 2015, both teams have met seven times in the Champions league. They both won each other on two occasions, while the remaining three games end in a draw.
Chelsea have won PSG in France within regulation time, while PSG is yet to, although they scaled through at Stamford Bridge in their last meeting when their match ended in 2-2 draw after extra time of play.
Today's match is the star match as English fans move to France to watch their premiership struggling side turn things around in Europe.
