Bayern Munich Home Win Is A Boost Ahead of Champions League Clash


Bayern Munich beat Darmstadt 3-1 to maintain top position at the Bundesliga with 59 points giving them comfortable lead in the league.

It was the visitors who first scored in the first 26 minutes of player, holding that defeat until half time.

The second half saw aggressive Bayern come out with force and it yielded result with Muller scoring Bayern's first and second goals in the 49 and 71 minutes respectively before Lewandowski scored Bayern's third and final goal in the 84 minutes.

Bayern win is a boost for Guardiola's men who will be travelling to Italy during the week to face Italian Giants Juventus in the first leg of the knock-out stage of the UEFA Champions League match.

It will be recalled that Guardiola is expected to do well in the UEFA Champions League with Bayern Munich or face a risk of being sacked.
