Arsenal Tame A Determined Leicester City At Emirate Stadium
Arsenal defeated a determined Leicester City yesterday 2-1 to trail two points behind Leicester who are still league leaders despite the loss.
Vardy opened scoring for Leicester at 44 minutes of play through a penalty kick that put Ranieri's men ahead in the first half of the match. Wenger's men leveled up in the second half through Theo Walcott in 70 minutes of play, giving Gunners the zeal to mount more pressure on their visitors, as they also took possession of the ball.
The pressure mounted by Arsenal continued until the 94 minutes when substitute Wellbeck nodded in the winning goal that gave Arsenal the maximum three points required to put them back in the title race.
