Determined Leicester City Trash Liverpool To Maintain Topspot In The EPL
Leicester City trashed Liverpool 2-0 at Kings Power Stadium to remain on top of the Premier League table after week 24, with goals coming from Vardy in the 60th and 70th minutes respectively.
Leicester are three points ahead of Manchester City who have climbed to the second position after beating Sunderland 1-0.
The visitors were in control of ball possession in the first-half, but made nothing out of it. Liverpool have so far won one game in their last five games, witnessing another significant defeat in the hands of a more focused Leicester side.
A draw in this match would have put Liverpool in the seventh position but with this loss, they remain in the eighth position.
Claudio Ranieri men are determined to win the Premiership title as they have maintained the top position in their last five games.
