Chelsea Win Against Southampton Take Them Close To Top Ten
Chelsea became the hero as they came from behind to win 2-1 at St Mary's and end Southampton's seven-match unbeaten run.
Southampton played better in the first-half and eventually took the lead through Shane Long.
The Irishman pounced on an awful Baba Rahman mistake to dink over goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois just before half-time.
That error cost Rahman his place at half-time, with Guus Hiddink replacing him with Kenedy - a move that helped change the game.
Cesc Fabregas' equalising goal was a touch fortunate, with Fraser Forster's momentary hesitation seeing the Spaniard's cross nestle in the far corner.
Gradually, Chelsea are now moving closer to the tenth position on the table after the win as they are currently on the eleventh position with 36 points but that will also be determined by the outcome of Everton's match who trail Chelsea with 35 points.
